The Court of Appeals is the first court of appeals for decisions from the district courts, Denver Probate Court, and Denver Juvenile Court. District Courts hear civil cases in any amount, as well as domestic relations, criminal, juvenile, probate, and mental health cases. County Courts handle civil cases under $25,000.
State and local agencies are required to make public records available for inspection by the public.
