The Maine Court System consists of a Supreme Court, Superior Court, District Court, Family Division, Juvenile Court, and Business & Consumer. At a lower level is Traffic Violations and Treatment Court. The Judicial Branch is one of three co-equal branches of state government under the Maine Constitution along with the Executive and Legislative branches.
